BENEFITTING:
ALS Therapy Development Institute ALSA Minnesota Chapter
The ALS Bike Trek Minnesota is a 14, 28, or 56 mile fully supported one-day ride perfect for the entire family! Our goal is to raise ALS awareness and funds to fuel research and patient support to improve the lives of those with ALS being conducted by the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) in Cambridge, Massachusetts and The ALS Association, Minnesota Chapter. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig's disease, is a neurodegenerative disorder that paralyzes the body but generally leaves the mind intact. Patients on average live between two to five years and currently there is no treatment or cure.
