Registration
Don't delay... register today! Rider online registration is $35.00. Registration at the event is $40.00. Families of five
ride for just $50.00. Volunteers and crew donate $10.00 to cover the cost of lunch.

The ride will begin at the Withrow Ballroom & Event Center. Each loop will have a variation for all levels, along the
scenic roads of Washington County the longer ride going up through Scandia. Each loop will have a window start time
(beginning at 9:00am) so we can keep congestion on the roads to a minimum. Fruit (sponsored by
www.fruitshare.com) pastries (sponsored by
www.thebikeryshop.com) and light refreshments will be

Event Schedule
Registration is open from 8:00 am until 10:30 am at the Withrow Ballroom. Riders will ride out in waves starting at 9am. The 14 mile
loop will take approximately 1hr 45 min. The 28 mile loop will take approximately 3 hours. The 56 mile loop will take approximately
3hr 30 min. The BBQ lunch will be served at Withrow Ballroom & Event Center between 12:00 - 2:30pm. The Bluegrass Continentals will
also be performing during this time. Post event, please join the ALS Bike Trek MN team at the Swirl Wine Bar patio in Afton from
4pm-close to celebrate!
Ride Support
Riders travel a marked route at their own pace. Support vehicles will patrol the route, and bicycle technicians will be available
for assistance. Along the ride we provide all food, water, fruit (sponsored by
www.fruitshare.com), snacks, and sports drinks.
Rest Stops
Our volunteer Crew set up and staff Rest Stops for each of the loops. There are 2 Rest Stops along the 56 mile loop, and each
Rest Stop is stocked with light food and beverages to keep you going.
Medical Staff
Medical Staff will be on hand in case of an emergency. All riders will be given the emergency number on their wristbands and route maps.
Fun for the Whole Family!
Encourage your friends and family to join in supporting this amazing day for the ALS community. At the starting/finish of the
ride at the Withrow Ballroom & Event Center, we would love to have an amazing show of support for the ALS community and the
riders supporting this event. At the finish line, there will be music and a BBQ sponsored by Madd Joe's BBQ to celebrate the
success of the day. In addition, a trike-a-thon for the youngsters will take place as the riders are coming in from their ride!
BBQ Finish
Our finish-line BBQ sponsored by Madd Joe's BBQ it's the final touch to a great day! Friends
and family are encouraged to attend. Riders eat free, but there is a fee for each for guest and volunteer. Pre-registrations

Music
We are excited to present the Bluegrass Continentals as the afternoon's evening musical performance! Completely redesigned for 2010, The Bluegrass
Continentals entertain with a mix of traditional and modern bluegrass, cowboy songs, country classics and unexpected gems. Their lush vocals and
well-appointed musicianship are sure to please with over 50 years of experience.

We understand that raising money can be challenging, but your ALS Bike Trek MN Team members are here to help. Our comprehensive
fundraising guide will help you get started. But, please feel free to contact us at alsbiketrekmn@als.net
with any questions you may have! We can help you put together a fundraising plan that will bring you to your goal. Each rider,
volunteer, crew or team will be able to create their own customizable web page that will be a great tool for yourself, friends,
family, and anyone who'd like to support you! Suggested Fundraising Goal: $250 (or more!)
